Meet Scott Ma

Scott received his MBA with a focus on real estate from Columbia Business school in New York City. During his time there, Scott worked in asset management at Invesco Real Estate, where he created and implemented operational strategies across property types in the Northeast US, including capital budgeting and other investment factors, developing valuation models, evaluating major leases and tenant credit, and communicating with key stakeholders. At Columbia, Scott served as a Career Management Fellow, Peer Mentor, Teaching Assistant, and as a VP with the Real Estate Association.
Scott previously practised commercial real estate law at Fasken Martineau Dumoulin LLP in Toronto where he advised clients on a range of matters including development approvals and planning compliance as well as the acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of office, retail, industrial, and residential properties. He also holds a JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and an International Bachelor of Business Administration (iBBA) from the Schulich School of Business.
Scott has been a licensed real estate agent since 2008 and a broker since 2012. He brings a passion to real estate that’s fueled by his pride in being part of a growing, dynamic industry.
