Our Story
HomeLife/Landmark Realty Inc. Brokerage was founded in July of 2004 by Tony Ma and Melody Lao, and first opened its doors at 75 The Donway West. From its very beginnings, HomeLife/Landmark set out to create an environment where Real Estate Salespersons could thrive competitively and successfully, accomplishing more than they had set out for, developing their business skills to their full potential, and learning about the industry, the trade and most importantly, themselves. Within three years of opening for business, HomeLife/Landmark had grown to more than sixty Top Producing real estate professionals and continues to flourish in the industry.
HomeLife/Landmark prides itself in upholding and encouraging the fundamental philosophies of knowledge, experience, motivation, trust, care and integrity. These guiding principles provided the foundations for HomeLife/Landmark, and have led to its phenomenal success in the real estate business. More importantly, however, at the very heart of HomeLife/Landmark are its Real Estate Professionals, who come from various cultural backgrounds and bring with them different perspectives. Their diligent, motivated hard work, determination and aspirations are clearly shown by their average gross commission, more than $80,000 each year.
Utilizing their over ten years of real estate experience, Tony and Melody have developed many unique educational and marketing systems, which when combined with the HomeLife name and its reputation as a leader in high standards and high results, have ensured the enduring success of all of HomeLife/Landmark’s salespersons.
Our Founders
Tony Ma and Melody Lao are the Brokers/Owners of HomeLife/Landmark Realty Inc. Over the course of their career as accomplished real estate professionals, they have gained invaluable experience, knowledge and insight into the real estate business. Their understanding of the industry has enabled them to build HomeLife/Landmark into an ever-expanding real estate office dedicated to ensuring the highest level of satisfaction among their customers. Tony and Melody have proven again and again that they have the knowledge and ability to provide the very best in customer service in Canada. They were the recipients of the 2001 and 2002 #1 Selling Team in HomeLife Canada; the 2003 Top 10 Salesperson in HomeLife Canada; and the 2004, 2005 & 2006 Top 10 Listing Agents award in HomeLife Canada.
